![]() Jesus is our representative at the right hand of God. Jesus not only died as the testator, He was resurrected and is the executor of the will. Anything contrary to His will is forgery. The Bible contains God’s will and testament in which He gives to us all of the blessings of redemption. The greatest barrier to the faith of many who seek healing, is their uncertainty as to whether it is the will of God to heal all. Is it still the will of God to heal all who have need of healing? There must be an open receiving heart.Do not let them depart from your eyes keep them in the midst of your heart for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (NKJ) Prov 4:20-22 “My son, give attention to my words incline your ear to my sayings. Lack of knowledge of God’s word along with doubt and unbelief hinder us from receiving from God. He took them from us, but for it to do us any good, we must release them. He loaded them up and carried them on His back, so we wouldn’t have to. He made our griefs His own, and our sorrows as if they were His. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed” (NIV). “Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. ![]() Psa 107:20 He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. Mat 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.” Neither do we need to tolerate sickness in our bodies because Jesus bore our sickness. Jesus has been our own substitutionary sacrifice bearing both our sins and our sicknesses on Calvary in order for us to be set free!Īs born again believers we do not tolerate sin in our lives because Jesus bore our sins. The two redemptive blessings that Christ brought to the world are salvation and healing – deliverance from sin and sickness. We must know what the benefits of Calvary are before we can appropriate them by faith. John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (NKJ). Freedom from sickness and bondage comes from knowing the truth.
